An Escape Room While On Vacation.
To add to the stories we share through our games, whenever possible, we like to find ties to local history and legends. The “Magician’s Secret,” our first immersive adventure, shares quite a bit about Columbus native, Howard Thurston - once the world’s greatest magician that time has somehow forgotten.
From the very start of our business, our goal has remained the same: Make sure our guests have a great time while having a shared, memorable experience they will talk about.
We welcome everyone to come play at our new, Columbus OH Escape Room venue!
After playing our first escape room game in 2015, our company was formed. We began creating escape rooms and escape games for people who would like to have a fun adventure. Our first escape room venue, Escape Room Downtown, is located in Canton, Ohio.
In 2024, we opened our second escape room location in downtown Columbus, Ohio: Magic Escape Rooms. As the name indicates, each game will be a magical adventure.

Magic Escape Rooms’ adventures are multi-room sets, Gen 3 (lots of electronics at play behind the scenes) and "mission-based" - where players must work together to complete a fun challenge. We found this type of game experience to be far more satisfying than simply trying to "escape from a room." The live action escape room game, to us, should be a fun quest where participants - families, friends and coworkers - can immerse themselves into a scenario and feel like they're a part of something real that’s taking place.
