Parisian Delight Coming Downtown: Chouette
Columbus foodies! Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with a taste of France! A chic new eatery is set to grace the corner of Gay and High Streets this August, just across High Street from the new Hank’s Low Country and across Gay Street from Magic Escape Rooms, and it promises an authentic Parisian dining experience. Mark your calendars for the grand opening of Chouette (pronounced "Shwet"), a restaurant poised to become a new downtown destination for delightful French cuisine.

While the full menu hasn't been revealed yet, a visit to Chouette's Google My Business page suggests a focus on classic French dishes. Imagine indulging in steak frites, a rich boeuf bourguignon, or perhaps a delicate quiche Lorraine. We can't wait to see what other French delicacies Chef has in store!

Chouette could become more than just a restaurant; the outside looks to be a French-inspired experience, too. A tremendous amount of tables, chairs, and lengthy awnings line a major portion of a block on Gay Street. The scene reminds us of the cafes found in the city of Paris, where food, drinks, games and lively banter take place all week long. We hope that some old world charm has perhaps found its way to Downtown Columbus, too!
